oldl, Story From 1-C I things said "We've I out," just he understood. said. gotta check these ceived a threatening phone call from somebody just as sick as the man who took her sister's life. Terrie had examined the sketch of the suspect and linked it with my face. Then Jimmy Barrett, a brother, had called police.

"Sorry, man," said Jimmy as I later sipped a cup of coffee at their house. Sgt. Martin told me how the Barrett family is one he's very close to, how he would indeed love to find the real man who shot Carol Barrett and left her corpse on that Florida roadside. Obituaries After I departed the home that night, the feelings and emotions of the day flashed back. The initial acceptance by the family.

The suspicion and indignation of being tagged as a murder suspect. Then the paranoia that turned to fear. And the comfort of being vindicated. I thought at the time that some day the whole thing would be humorous to a degree. Then wondered if the real killer of Carol Ann Barrett will ever be driven across that old bridge in the backseat of a Zanesville police cruiser.
