Orlando 4-3623 Winter Park 4-3831 Name Address Deaths MR. HARRY Y. SMITH JR. A 36-year-old Blacksburg, employe of Wood Guard Lumber Inc. was killed late Wednesday when the front wheel of a tractor he was driving at the lumber yard on Hwy.

441 north of Lee Rd. crushed his skull. Harry Y. Smith had only been in Orlando three weeks and it was his first day of work with the company. The tractor reared up, knocking Smith from the seat.

His skull was crushed beneath the right front wheel as the front end fell back to the ground. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Robbins Smith, Middlesboro, his mother, Mrs. Lucille Rice Smith, Blacksburg, three sisters and a brother. Carey Hand Funeral Home is sending the body to Middlesboro for services and burial.

MRS MARTHA STINSON Word was received here yesterday of the death Wednesday of Mrs. Martha Stinson, wife of the Rev, Fred Stinson, former pastor of Christ Methodist Church of Orlando. Stinson is now pastor of the First Methodist Church in Gorda. During his pastorate in Orlando he also conducted services at the Orlando Drive-In Theater on Sundays. Besides her husband, Mrs.

Stinson is survived by two children Rickey and Rita Gail. Funeral services will be in Punta Gorda at the church, Friday at 10 a.m. MR. ROY L. ROLAND Mr.

Roy L. Roland, 49, 2900 Lawrence died in a local hospital Wednesday night after an illness of several months. Mr. Roland came to Orlando 35 years ago from Bartow. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Shirley Mae Roland, a son, Archie USMC, Camp LeJeune, N. three daughters, Mrs. Lorine Reynolds of Eustis, Mrs. Betty Williams and Miss Barbara Lee Roland, both of Orlando; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Wilson of Orlando, and eight grandchildren.

Carey Hand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. MR. ADOLPH F. BEWAK Mr. Adolph F.

Bewak, 78. 1202 17th died at his home Wed- nesday. Mr. Bewak came to Orlando years ago from Johnstown. where he had been employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corp.

for 50 years. He was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are three sons, George, Francis and Robert Bewak, Johnstown, six daughters, Mrs. Victoria Rich, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Agnes Johnstown, Mrs. Hilda Aukerman, Springville, Mrs. Gertrude Bennett, Pennsville, N. Mrs.

Catherine Westfall, Orlando, and Mrs. Matilda McKeefer. Spain; and 29 grandchildren. The family has requested that friends make contributions to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Carey Hand Funeral Home is in charge.

MR. STEPHEN PHILLIPS Mr. Stephen Phillips, 68, 860 Carew Winter Park, died Wednesday in a local hospital. A former resident of Canton, Ohio, Mr. Phillips had lived in Winter Park since March.

Surviving are his wife. Margaret Phillips; his mother in Hungary; four sons, Ernest, William, Charles Phillips, all of Canton, Ohio, and Robert Phillips, Winter Park: two brothers, Emory, Canton, and John, who 15 in Europe.
