Pearl Yancey, 229 E. Smith former Orange County supervisor of registration, died Monday. She was 79. Mrs. Yancey was associated with the Orange County registration office 21 years.

She became supervisor in October 1947, when she succeeded R. T. (Dick) Tucker, who resigned. In 1943 she was elected to a four-year term but resigned in 1951 because of poos, health. She was succeeded by the late James E.
