Sentinel Orlando, Floruit 11 Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1975 Florida Gas Shared Discovery Upgraded Audit Reveals Supplies Cost Health Unit Double can be determined. To accomplish this, Shell has assigned two mobile drilling rigs to explore the tract, which Shell and partners acquired in a March 1974 federal lease sale for $214 million. FLORIDA GAS Exploration the unit of Winter Park-based Florida Gas which is a participant, paid $10.3 million for its 4.17 per cent working interest. Florida Gas transmission unit has a call on 25 per cent of any gas found.

A platform could be installed by 1978, but production isn't likely before 1979 or 1980, Shell said. Orlando Fall Cleanup Scheduled Sept. 17, 24 The City of Orlando's fall cleanup campaign will be conducted Sept. 17 south of the sard Holland (East-West) Expressway and on Sept. 24 north of the expressway.

Pickups will start at 6 a.m. Only old refrigerators, stoves, lawn mowers, trunks and other household items no longer needed will be collected. Normal yard trash, building materials or car bodies and motors will not be picked up. Florida Gas 4.17 per cent interest in a Louisiana Gulf oil field discovery reported in July may mean more crude oil than original tests showed. Shell Oil which owns a 42.8 per cent interest in the tract, said additional study of data from the discovery 100 miles south-southeast of New Orleans resulted in revising the find upward to 162 net feet of oil from a reported 130 net feet of oil.

OPERATING PARTNER Shell said the original drilling site also shows nine feet of natural gas (revised from eight feet earlier) and 26 feet of probable oil. Shell also announced that a confirmation well drilled two miles from the original hole encountered two major hydrocarbon-bearing zones one containing oil and the other both oil and natural gas. These two sand zones contain 32 net feet of gas, 46 net feet of oil, plus an additional 24 net feet of probable oil, Shell siid. THE SANDS are at a higher structural position and in a different fault block from the discovery announced a month ago. Shell said that while encouraged by the success to date, considerably more exploratory drilling must be completed before the potential of the discovery they probably were something the health partment needed immediately and could not wait for state action.

Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, is in charge of TALLAHASSEE MB The Orange County Health Department purchased some medical supplies at almost twice the price available under state contracts, state Auditor General Ernest Ellison said Wednesday. Ellison said the purchase illustrates the need for the state Division of Health to develop a uniform purchasing policy for all county health departments that include procedures for detecting violations. ELLIS ON'S comments were included in an audit of the health division for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 1974. The division is part of the Health and Rehabilitative Services Department.

Dr. Wilfred Sisk, director of the Orange County Health Department, said he did not know specifically what purchases Ellison was referring to. Sisk said he has not been contacted by the Auditor General's office, or seen the audit. The county health department had difficulty getting additional copies of the state contract after the original was destroyed in a January 1974 fire, Sisk said. The state contract lists prices of supplies available through the state.

BUT SISK said sometimes the health department can get supplies through local sellers cheaper than through the state. Although he could not pinpoint the higher-priced purchases, he said (AP) Danced Topless On Sub Cmdr. Connelly D. Stevenson has retained a naval attorney to appeal his dismissal as skipper of the submarine USS Finback after he allowed dancer Cat Futch, above, to perform topless on deck of the boat as it sailed from Port Canaveral last July. Stevenson, now serving in desk job in Norfolk, said he didn't know how his story leaked out and didn't want to fight his battle in the press.

Stevenson said he didn't believe he did anything "immoral, bad or indecent" by allowing dancer aboard as reward for extra work done by crew.
